Traditional brown bread


400g Wholemeal Flour
20g Oat Flakes
½ tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Bread Soda
½ tsp. Baking Powder
1 Egg
350ml Buttermilk


1. Place all ingredients into mixing bowl.
2. Mix with paddle attachment until combined.
3. Place in an oiled bread tin.
4. Bake at 150°C for 1 hour. Remove from tin and bake for a further 10 minutes.
